menta solutions is built on more than 25 years of work with systems, data and scientific processes at the Spanish Type Culture Collection (CECT) and in several European projects related to microbiological collections, interoperability and scientific information management.
Experience gained in real laboratory environments has made it possible to understand not only scientific data management, but also the technical and operational needs that support daily work: IT infrastructures, storage, backups, access control, change traceability and information availability.
Continuous work with collections, users and complex scientific processes has led to a practical understanding of how the systems that support laboratory activity should be designed and maintained.
At menta solutions, we do not start from generic solutions later adapted to the scientific environment. We develop specialized technology to organize, structure and protect laboratory information from the technical and documentary reality of scientific work.
